From the Mailbag

From the Mailbag October 11th, 2006

We create the media, send it to stations, and pray that God will use it: messages of Truth in fifteen-minute segments (such as the recently released Arabic program, “Story of Today”) or in daily radio broadcasts; messages of Truth sent over the airwaves, with the ability to reach straight into millions of homes - in countries closed to open evangelism - much easier than a “traditional” missionary can.

And God does use it. The average of 1,000 calls per month is proof of that, along with the countless emails received each day.

The following are two particularly touching responses that were received recently. If ever I begin to wonder if anything is actually coming from the hours spent in front of a computer or behind a camera, examples and stories such as these are more than enough to chase any doubts away.

I was a Muslim and after I watched your programs, my eyes were opened. I realized that Islam is a false religion and that Mohamed is a false prophet. The important thing I want to highlight is that Jesus Christ is the Only and absolute truth, through his birth and his life. I have then decided to worship him.”

To understand the significance behind this next quote, from a listener in North Africa, it is important to know that he signed his name with the preliminary word “Hajj” - essentially stating his status as someone who has made a pilgrimage to Mecca, and received this name as an honorary title.

I became a Christian listening to your radio programs. Thank you for your programs.”
