How many lives can be touched in a mere seven minutes? Try 38,000.
The testimony of Rebeca, released by Málaga Media Center earlier this year, is a seven-minute program which is part of the Spanish testimonies series “Gente Como Tú” (People Like You).
On September 18, 2006, Rebeca’s touching, heart-wrenching story of pain, depression, forgiveness, and deliverance, was broadcast on an Andalusian regional network as part of the evangelical program Pan del Cielo (Bread from Heaven).
According to the producer, there were numerous calls in response to the story, as well as some letters, out of a viewership of 38,000 - a good number for that program.
Paco Echevarria, the producer of Pan del Cielo, writes,
Thank you for these testimonies, which are very effective in communicating that the gospel is extremely practical in the lives of these people.
The same station has scheduled a program that includes another testimony in the “Gente Como Tú” series, the story of María, which will be broadcast on November 28, 2006.
