Follow Up
For North Africans who show an interest in spiritual truth through correspondence or personal interaction, our MMC staff contacts them directly about the potential for a face-to-face visit. Once we are assured that someone has a true interest, our staff will then coordinate a visit. These visits may be by our own staff members or by one of those in our network of local believers who have been trained in follow-up and discipleship.
This is just the beginning of the process by which individuals are helped to understand the Gospel, apply it to their own lives and be introduced to a fellowship of other Christians. While this may sound simple, caution and wisdom are needed because an individual who accepts Christ faces rejection by family and society. It takes raw courage for an individual to become part of an underground fellowship!
