Gente Como Tú (People Like You)
For most Spaniards, God seems abstract, distant and irrelevant. More than 85 percent say they are Roman Catholic, but fewer than 15 percent have any religious activity. Evangelicals make up less than one-half of one percent. “People Like You” is a series of Spanish-language programs presenting first person testimonies of God’s work and include supporting interviews, reenactments, personal photos and more. Each story is introduced by a presenter and concludes with a spiritual challenge to consider faith in Jesus Christ.
The first series of six programs has been aired on two regional networks in southern Spain. Both these networks are also available via satellite packages in Latin America.The programs have been so well received that programmers are asking for more. Besides airing on Christian television, these videos have also been shown on some local television stations that benefit greatly from the availability of these high quality productions.

God is using these videos to pave the way for conversations about God.”
Some of these testimonies can be viewed on our media page. Several of these, including Rebeca’s Story (part of the second series of testimonies), have been aired on Spanish television. The videos are also available on DVD for viewing at home or in churches.
